Higher Ways

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. “ Isaiah 55:8-9

Our Spiritual life is a simple walk of faith and awareness. We walk in God by a conscience awareness of motivations and influences on our hearts and careful consideration of our behaviors based on them. We walk in his way’s, His higher way’s, by remaining in God’s Spirit not our own. We must choose in who’s way’s we will walk, who’s spirit motivates our behaviors.

Scripture assures us:

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower the righteous run into it and are safe” Proverbs 18:10

How does that work in the reality of our lives?

His Spirit resident in us by our invitation is our strong tower. His name: Yeshua Messiah/ Jesus the Christ declared upon the earth the reality of his presence. That presence invoked by His name, expressed in his word; invited into our souls; resident in our now living spirit is our safety. We can and must enter into it by a choice of our will. Entering we find His peace that passes all understanding. By entering in we find His safety and leave behind the influences and distractions of this present world system. This is our Salvation. The alternative is to live in our soul’s life; our self-centered appetites, lusts, fears, distractions, ever chasing our desires without the promise of satisfaction or real peace.

“Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4 niv

By taking our delight in and through Him alone the fullness of life is satisfied for He said:

“I came that you might have life and that to the full”
