This is the truth as I understand it and has led to life as I experience it.
At the dawn of time, in the most ancient garden, the first truly conscious man, our all our father- Adam chose to eat of the wrong tree; he ate the forbidden fruit of a tree of knowledge. It’s fruit was independent human being.
This was rebellion from the Creators way, it caused isolation and separation from intimacy with our Creator; the just response from a Holy and pure Creator who could no longer have fellowship with that which was no longer pure. For the sake of His creation he had to separate us from his being lest we be annihilated by the power of his perfect presence.
Adam and we as his descendants became dysfunctional, defiled by the choices of disobedience- rebellion from the truth and grace that was given at our creation. The result-spiritual isolation from God and physical death. This is simply a reality of our condition when we have our being independently of faith in God’s continuous and ever-present atoning power: that is the faith of Messiah (Christ).
Messiah/ Christ the very son of the creator came down from heaven and walked with man, as a man, while yet one with God in spirit. He came to be a bridge, to fix the broken connection, (the hard wire) between mankind and God. He did this by His death, burial, resurrection and ascension. Adam broke the perfect fellowship between man and God when he chose rebellion from God’s only command “do not eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it, surly you shall die “, Yet we have eaten this fruit: each one of us…
The Christ/Messiah was crucified at the instigation of the religious leaders of his day and died at the hands of the world’s power structure. This was the plan of God for our reconciliation; his son’s substitution on our behalf. God fulfilled his own requirement for the consequences of mankind’s rebellion= death and isolation from the creator. God himself paid the price of the consequences of our rebellion . God sent his son, who lived a sinless, pure life and died on our behalf. A substitutional sacrifice for our failure. He became the bridge back to the father.
This love of our creator/father through his son revealed the nature of true love, grace, kindness and mercy. He showed the way of true love is selfless service and personal sacrifice for the good of others.
Yet God the father restored life to Christ, he was resurrected on the third day after his death ; proving his claims of divine purpose; instituting His kingdom-establishing the way back to God; restoring His rule and reign on earth: For all those who simply choose to believe it!
In Messiah’s/Christ’s ascension He imparted to his followers the Spirit of the Father. Through whom He might do what He could not do while upon earth; making Himself one with those He loved agin. He now can actually live through us, redeeming our lives from the isolation of dysfunction; so that we can live His life (of perfect intimacy with the father) before all mankind. It is His life, faith and power being communicated in and through us by the Holy Spirit he sent after his resurrection. “In Him we live and move and have our being”.
His life enters our hearts by our choice of faith in Christ and then renews our heart filling our life with His power. This is his redemption of us from the death and rebellion of Adam’s choice of independent, self serving; rebellious willfulness.
God/Yeshua/Jesus does this for a reason. He does this so that we would be able to be all that God had purposed for us when we were created, prior to Adam’s rebellion. He provided the power to live his way, his word, his life; by His Spirit….
Our purpose; to represent Him; to reveal Him and enjoy a life to the full in His ways, to manage a particular part of His affairs down here, a realm; a sphere of authority, understanding, gifting or geography.
In our obedience to His spirit resident in us or revealed through his word (Holy Scriptures= Torah); He receives full dominion of all His realms about the earth that he had ceded to Adam in the garden. He chose to cede to Adam’s heirs authority over his creation, to use us- the sons of Adam as his administrator’s (lords) of his realms on the earth. For He is “the King of kings, and Lord of lords”;
“The earth groans in eager anticipation for the revelation of the Sons of God”.
This statement of faith and understanding of God’s way’s has been revealed in scripture, proven by my experience; being what I consider a workable truth. That is something you can trust, work in, and reliably stake your life, heart, mind and actions on.
What does this mean for your life?
All you need to live this truth is to remember, believe in and act on what He(Messiah/Jesus) said while He was here….
“Ye did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you”. John 15:16 (AMS)
“In that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you”.(John 14:20 AMS)
