Isaac: confirmed –the son who was offered; compliant; the son who received abundance yet with duplicity and still a man of submission.
Jacob: established –the wise trickster; the manipulator transformed through striving with God.
The God of these men is the God of all men for all men are in them.
The one who called and walked with them calls yet,
“Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest,
Invite me to cleanse and heal your broken heart and I will make you whole”!
