The Scriptures say we are a royal household, Kings & Priests,
One day we will cast our crowns at the feet of our Lord – King of the Universe.
Consider now the jewels in our crowns.
I see them as trouble, troubles that pressed us to grow.
Troubles- our pain and suffering,
Troubles that formed- Character.
Jewels start as raw crystals, hidden in the earth created through heat and pressures.
We resist or yield to the trouble of life.
Yielding and learning in grace and truth creates Jewels.
Jewels in our crowns!
Crowns we will one day gladly and with exceeding joy cast at His feet.
He who through His grace and truth transformed our troubles into glory!
May you grow through your troubles and find His glory be all about you!

Good points Mark. If we would only see our troubles in this light we might bear them more joyfully, regally and much more patiently. Thanks for the insight. My crown of thorns which I have worn with shame my whole life can now begin to be transformed into that which it was always meant to be…a crown of glory, just as Shaul said II Cor 4:17
“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory”.
